How the heck do you do it… the Little Viking arrived at work before I did!
One of the best options when working in the woods, especially for group conservation tasks and situations where saw blades might easily get damaged.
We have two models available of this good quality 30" bowsaw from Bahco:
SELECT FROM THE 'MODEL' DROP-DOWN BOX BELOW.
Technical saws such as the Silky Gomtaro are quite rightly gaining favour in terms of convenience and speed of cutting but in woodland situations which are often far from clean, bowsaws are still the most practical choice.
Also when blunt, blades can be quickly changed without tools with relatively inexpensive replacements.
Use for cross cutting green wood, pruning, felling coppice material or small trees.
The ERGO 30" saw features an easy to use mechanism for quick blade tensioning to ensure straight cutting. The handle is also more comfortable to grip and has a built-in knuckle guard.
Can be used as a two-man saw, a more efficient and quicker way to cross-cut logs, each person taking turns to pull the saw. Take care when using this technique as there is only one hand guard.
Painted with a bright orange rust protecting high-impact enamel paint which makes them easier to find in the woods.
Comes with a plastic blade protector for when the saw is not being used but have a look at our new Wooden Bowsaw Sheath
Lightweight at 750 grams.
Easy blade changing.
Fitted with a standard Peg Toothed 30" blade, however Replacement Raker Tooth blades are available.
